PJ Rattan Armchair with Natural Cane Seat and Backrest.
Inspired by Master Designer Pierre Jeanneret’s original chair created for Chandigarh city, PJ Rattan Armchair’s distinctive V-shaped legs giving it a solid aesthetic that was destined to be its defining feature that become so widely sought-after. We use American FAS Grade cherry wood and ash wood with Indonesian natural Cane to create our own ‘PJ-Rattan Furniture Range’.
In the characteristics of pure cherry wood, natural color difference is inevitable in the selection of materials. We will see two-color and even three-color cherry wood furniture, which is the charm of natural materials.
In the original design, durable and inexpensive teak was used as a material to cope with the hot and humid conditions in India. In today’s refined urban life, we have chosen precious woods such as North American cherry and ash to restore the design in a high proportion.
