Sergio Lounge Chair :
Love at the first sight of the distinctive design appereance, the modern style also reveals a trace of retro nostalgia. Inspired of ‘Renata Armchair’ which was designed by Sergio Rodrigues in 1996 we have launched our Sergio lounge chair in this summer to pay tribute to this great Brazilian carioca architect and furniture designer. The name of Renata is an homage to his friend and executive director of the Institute, Renata Aragão. And we use ‘Sergio’ to commemorate this great designer and pay tribute to his excellent desgin arts.

The large seat and soft fabric allow you to enjoy 360-degree joy and warmth without dead ends. At our master design collection, Sergio armchair is far from satisfying comfort and functionality, it also speaks for the aesthetics of modern design furniture. Wood: The wooden frame of Sergio Lounge chair is crafted from American FAS grade solid ash in Natural or Walnut color, beautiful and sturdy in structure.
- UPHOLSTERY EXTRA SUPPORT-Seat and Backrest are molded plywood shaping, high resilience foam filling with microfiber leather uphoholstery. The microfiber leather is the abbreviation of microfiber PU (polyurethane) synthetic (faux) leather. Microfiber leather fabric is one type of synthetic leather, this material is microfiber non-woven fabric coating with a layer of high performance PU (polyurethane) resins. Microfibrer leather is high-class synthetic leather which perfectly replicates features of real leather such as the handfeeling, breathability and moisture absorption etc. The performance of microfiber including chemical and abrasion resistance, anti-crease, aging resistance etc are better than genuine leather. Because the real leather is animal skin, so it has a strange smell. If the formaldehyde and heavy metals exceed the standards in the production process, usually the real leather would has a pungent odour. However, the microfiber is anti-odour. Based on the quality distribution on natural hide, the amount of usable leather is about 60 to 80% only. However, the microfiber is not limited by this, it is produced in roll form, also the quality of microfiber is very stable.
Seat and Backrest: molded plywood shaping, high resilience foam filling with microfiber leather upholstery always support your lumbar. With this layer of molded cushion and seat, it will make it easier for you to get up, unlike ordinary sofa chairs, once you sit in it, it is difficult to stand up.
- CUSHIONS: The movable cushion upholstery are down-filled with the wool blend fabric in Army Green color. (A wool blend is made from natural wool blended with synthetic fibres. Most garments labelled as wool blends will contain a set percentage of synthetic fibres, and this will be detailed on the label. It’s important to note that the addition of synthetic fibres does not mean a garment is of a lesser quality – quite the opposite. Cashmere and Cotton has taken the love of designing knitwear and poured this into developing a unique wool blend that is cosier than merino, just as breathable as cashmere, and meets our high ethical standards.)
